Both Information technology and Information communication technology are prevalent in our society in many ways. Through computers cell phones, Ipods-The list is endless. It is very common place in our society to use technologies.
The IT devices I feel confident and competent using are Ipods, computers and cell phones.
Occupational therapists commonly use IT within practice. Computes are used to store relevant information, write repots and the internet is useful in exploring relevant resources.
There are some ethical implications That can arise from using IT devices such as not having someone's consent. Can be huge implications if something is illegally downloaded ect.
